Welcome to Tailevu USA

Tailevu USA is a non-profit community organization.  

It was established in 2012 to assist in the development and enhancement of communal relations and fellowships in the Fijian-American communities for those who are of Tailevu descent by birth, marriage of favor; promote the Fijian customs and culture; facilitate the hosting of cultural events; facilitate the provision of personal, marriage and family counseling services and the furnishing of aid to the needy within the Fijian-American communities.

Tailevu USA is represented by 5 districts, Bay Area/Pennsylvania, Hawaii, Pacific Northwest, Sacramento and Sonoma County.

 Adi Samanunu Cakobau Talakuli Scholarship 2024

The Adi Samanunu Cakobau Talakuli Scholarship celebrates its 11th year anniversary in 2024 by prioritizing areas of study that it would support this year.

The Priority Areas of study in technical colleges are Carpentry, Welding, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Hospitality, Graphic Design, and Agricultural skills.

Degree programs are GIS, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Land Management, Forestry, Town Planning, Surveying, Psychology, Information Technology and Computing, Climate Change, Environment Sustainability, Commerce and Marine Biology.

In 2023 alone the scholarship program had paid out almost $75,000 FJD in tuition.

The application for the Adi Samanunu Cakobau Talakuli scholarship is now open and will close on Saturday February 10th, 2024.
